There was a limited run of copies. The album editor has stated that after the mastering session, three signatures were added to the run-out groove of the acetate master. If you own a copy of the first LP, it is only a genuine first pressing if it has those tiny signatures.

The LP has the first fifteen tracks on the first .And Starts His Schooldays - Various - Original Soundtrack From The Prisoner and the remaining eleven on the second. These are a selection from the original recordings of everything composed or recorded for the series.

InVolume Two contains a selection of the recordings used in the series that came from the Chappell Recorded Music Library. The music tracks are presented in the order of the original episode transmissions and relevant snippets of dialogue are interspersed here and there.

InNetwork brought things full circle with its release of a limited edition, audiophile-level, vinyl LP available in a gatefold.
